The Most Commonly Faced Keurig Coffee Machine Issues

Your coffee machine may be your every morning savior but sometimes it needs some rescue as well. Due to frequent use, coffee machines tend to be clogged or at times, certain components dislodge from their original position, all of which results in some frequently asked issues. Some of these are discussed here along with their fix.

The Machine Keeps Turning On And Off

Such an issue arises when the in-built timer is fixed to a specific timing. To fix this, go through the manual regarding switching the timer off or visit the keurig website. On the other hand, the machine may also keep turning on or off during brewing due to the possibility that the water reservoir is shifted due to the intense vibration. This can be fixed by correcting the position of the magnet of the reservoir.

The Machine is Leaking

A Keurig machine whether it is Keurig mini or any model is likely to leak if the gasket and to be more precise, the upper gasket is not correctly installed. Simply putting it back into the correct position or installing new one in case the gasket is absent can fix the issue.

The Taste of The Coffee is Not Appropriate

Once the keurig coffee maker brews an off taste coffee, it clearly indicates that the machine needs to be cleaned. If the coffee is changed, then the scales from the previous flavour may contribute to an unlikely taste and thus it is important to frequently clean the machine in three months or less depending on the use. Furthermore, the quality of water can also contribute to the frequent need to clean the coffee maker.

Less Coffee Brewed Than Usual

Since the coffee makers exhibit delicate water lines, it is a common occurrence that they are clogged and as a result, less coffee is produced as compared to regular volumed brewed. To clean the clogged water lines, the machine is used with plain water without K-cup and this filters out all the coffee debris.
